Print - King Bee

“Holding an insect in my hand, like a spider or a fuzzy caterpillar, really makes me feel at peace.” This is what my son, Jorel, told me the other day. I used to call him the bee whisperer because he would pet the bees in our yard and was always ready to gently escort them out of our sunroom when they were trapped. At 18, he still has the same gentle magic he’s always had. The kind you need when befriending an insect. Jorel, King Bee, you are extraordinary.
